about: blog sections
dailies: The author’s note, ramblings, opinions, on anything and everything. Her personal views on life and her family.
who’s who: Short capsule descriptions of people. A profile—which will be a mix of moms, writers, photographers, stylists, and the movers and shakers of the world or any prominent personality.
what’s Up: A roundup of articles on interesting things that the target reader would like to know about. I can put press releases here, as well as useful information for the mom. This is designed so that the readers see everything at a glance.
where-to: Must-go-to events or places around the world like an opening of a new restaurant or a new travel destination that everyone is talking about. What’s happening in your area? Or a reader’s suggestions on new places to go to in their part of the world. Or some travel advisories and info.
trendspotting: A themed blog post of certain products. This could be weekly if there are interesting items out there for moms, dads and kids. For example, a feature on anything with hearts. I would find items with the element of heart in it. Could be clothes, print, toy, plates, bookcase, shoes etc.
product of the day: A lone cool find of the day.
style of the day: A post entry featuring clothing finds of the season. This is a must-see for the stylish mom.
book or movie of the day: A hodgepodge of book and movie features. This could be novels, new releases, architecture or design books, autobiographies, cookbooks, travel (BOOKS) and sci-fi, romance, thriller, epic (MOVIE) or anything that interests me and other moms out there.
photo of the day: I love good photographs and compositions. Every time I find an interesting photo, I post it on my site for everyone to see. I usually look through the entries on Flicker as well as websites of famous and not so famous photographers.
monthly projects: Readers speak this time. Project is themed and could be anything and readers can participate by sending in their entries which will then be published on my blog.
gift guide special: A multi-page special of gifts for different types of women: Beach/bohemian mommy, City girl, Adventurer, and the high-powered executive and their kids. This is in PDF format and could be downloaded on my site or emailed to old and new subscribers just in time for the Holiday season.
etsy Finds: I love etsy and anything handmade. This post entry will be dedicated to the artists and their works.
photo story is a collection of photos of moms and kids. This is storytelling with matching photographs. Topics and scenarios could be anything from eating out, shopping or just staying at home. Starting next month, I will be inviting moms or dads or even aunties and uncles to send me their own photo stories or I could also make a contest that whoever posts the most interesting photo story or who has garnered the most votes from readers will get goodies from sponsors.
