photo of the day: pink doors

These past two weeks had been gloriously busy and productive. Now onto the long weekend! Do you have any fabulous plans for the next three days?

This Weekend:
• make a trip to the grocery for some much needed supplies
• do some reading
• a trip to the South
• plan on a diet for the next three weeks before Boracay Christmas
• work and more work

Happy weekend, everyone….wherever you may be….

This was such an intense week. Actually, it feels this way every week but this week is a bit different because instead of staying home for the weekend, I’m miles away from my cozy bed and lovely TV. And to top it all, MG has cough and colds and the weather here in Tagaytay is much too cold for us. I’ve also been putting up a valiant effort to fight off a cold that’s threatening to ruin my week and fitness routine. But it seems to be winning. So I might down a bottle of Ascorbic Acid later on. If you hear in the news of a lady dying from Vitamin C overdose, that would be me.

Anyway, it’s probably too late for some but I hope you all have a happy weekend…wherever you may be…

I’ll leave you with this rare photo of Brooke!=)

dailies: manny pacquiao and wapakman

November 18, 2009

So my bad feeling about the whole match was really just that because Manny won…again! And my impression about Miguel Cotto changed, too. He is not that tough as his exterior projects. But what I admire about him is he was sport about the whole thing. I wouldn’t have guessed that about him in a million years. After the referee stopped the match, he accepted his defeat and went over to Manny’s corner and shook his hand and congratulated him. So there you go. All’s well that ends well.

Thank you Manny for bringing honor to our country. And for that, panonoorin ko ang WAPAKMAN!!! Yun lang ang pwede kong gawin to show my appreciation kahit ayaw ko. Kayo, would you watch his movie as a sign of thanks and appreciation? =)

dailies: bad feeling

November 15, 2009

I have a bad feeling about Manny Pacquiao’s match today with Miguel Cotto. I hope it’s nothing. I just don’t trust his opponent. There’s something different about him that I can’t clearly place. It might be the face. I hope Manny wins. I’ve been praying for it for days now and I seldom pray for people I don’t know personally. Good luck to us all.

Go MANNY!

photo of the day: friday the 13th

November 12, 2009

today is friday the 13th.
it’s 5 in the afternoon.
it’s that time when you don’t really understand your own idea
because you’re a little too tired
to come up with something worthwhile.
you also contemplate whether you should write anything else.
some days are really better than others.

and i feel so incredibly worn out.
is that even an expression?
no energy to think.
this photo mysteriously surfaced in my folder on this ridiculously unbalanced day.
whatever that means.
again, hope you have a good weekend…
wherever you may be…

dailies: with the family

November 4, 2009
We’re here in Pampanga having a much needed long vacation. We didn’t have the chance to go anywhere last week because of planning booboos. All hotels and resorts were fully booked. You see, I don’t plan ahead. One week is the most I could manage to plan for anything–whether vacation, birthday parties or spa treatment. A month for me is too much. That’s why I didn’t anticipate that hotels might be booked for the long weekend last week. And true enough, no room was free. Anyway, we just arrived and we’re planning to stay here for two nights. So this is a bit early but happy weekend to you all. By the way, sun broadbrand signal here sucks.
