On Tuesday my little girl turns five and I don’t know how we should celebrate it. My initial plan was to have dinner at our new home. But things happen and plans change and I’ve decided to just have lunch or dinner with my family. So I’ve been reading Anton’s Blog for hours now and I still don’t have an idea where to eat. And I just realized, Anton doesn’t go to QC too often. All the restaurants his family has tried were located in the south, meaning Makati, The Fort, Paranaque and Tagaytay. And his most memorable meals ever are mostly out of town. So, ok. Perhaps there aren’t too many good restaurants in the metro, particularly in QC. That’s sad, really. Which means we have to go somewhere in the south or we could always eat at Cyma. I don’t know. I still have one more day to find a good resto. Anyway, I asked my daughter what she wanted for her birthday last night. Can you guess what she told me? MUNCHKINS. She could have anything she wants on her birthday and yet she only asks for munchkins. Kids are adorable.

My sister is now a free woman. She has broken up with her husband. Their relationship is so complicated and only I know the whole truth. My sister has known about her husband’s flirting ways with another girl for about two weeks. And I’ve known about her husband’s activities for about a year now but I didn’t tell her. She got the information on her own. Is it wrong on my part that I didn’t tell my sister about this? I would have if she has no adulterous acts of her own. This is the reason why I didn’t tell my sister. I can’t bear the thought of my sister playing innocent or playing the part of the aggrieved party. Besides, I pity their kids so much and I’m only thinking of the children’s sake. This is what you get when you know everything. If you’re the holder of the truth.

random tuesday
random tuesday thoughts: red, book, rain
I have periods of white, periods of color and periods of black and white. Now is definitely a black and white period. And red. We’re having bed weather again and I can’t help but want to go back to sleep. Some days you wake up with a smile in your face and ideas in your head. You feel inspired. You feel you can take on the world. Today is definitely not one of them. I woke up with a headache and achy feeling in my abdomen. I was supposed to run today but it was raining. I only realized that I already have my period when I went to bathroom and peed. My pee had red it.
So I feel like not doing anything today. Perhaps some reading and finish the book that I started some weeks back. I want to start on a new one. One that Philippa Gregory authored. I just watched The Other Boleyn Girl last night and I was intrigued by the royalties, the Tudors, more specifically. That’s why I might head off to the bookstore later in the day to buy a Philippa Gregory book. If and only if it stops raining. Otherwise, you’ll find me under the covers the whole day.
