A leap year only happens every four years. An extra day for all of us. Hooray! But mostly for girls, since this is the only day where girls are permitted to propose to her man. This tradition was started by St. Bridget who complained to St. Patrick about women having to wait so long before a man can propose. Her complaint was heard. So, if you can’t wait anymore, do it now or wait another four years or just wish he proposes even before that.
